The town of Milliken may need to consider renaming Quentine Avenue if Roosevelt's Quinten Fuentes continues on his path of success. Although the 18-year-old showed spectators just how badly he wants that state title this year, anyone who blinked may have missed it.

Fuentes pinned Eaton's Matt Smith in 47 seconds, Class 5A Poudre's Joel Klitch in 1:22 and Greeley Central's Josh Gonzales, No. 3 in the state for Class 4A, in 1:38.

There were many highlights to Saturday's invitational in Johnstown, including:

n 103's: Kyle Walter's (Roosevelt) bout against Poudre's John Toplyn took an extra period to decide. After Walter got the initial take down, the pair battled to a 6-6 tie at the end of three. Walter ended the match with a 2-points for a near fall.

n 125's: Weld Central's Jose Castro finished second after an 8-2 defeat by Poudre's Anthony Doyle. Greeley Central's Michael Rangel took home third-place honors.

n 189's: Weld Central's Donovan McMahill defeated Poudre's Sam Gorton 9-3 for first place.
